Creative Monsoon is an Australian surface pattern design studio based in Brisbane, creating original colour-driven pattern collections developed for commercial licensing. Established in 2009 and led by artist and illustrator Jenn Bell, the studio combines fine art foundations with commercially ready design to produce cohesive, repeat ready collections for textiles, homewares, stationery and lifestyle products.

With over 30 years of experience in the creative industry, Jenn brings together art direction, illustration and pattern development to create collections that are both visually distinctive and production ready. Each design is built with real world application in mind - from hero prints and supporting coordinates to scalable repeats suitable for fabric, wallpaper, giftware and decor.

Every collection begins with hand drawn concepts developed in Jenn’s Brisbane studio. Sketches evolve into layered illustrations and carefully constructed repeat patterns, refined digitally to ensure technical accuracy and versatility across product categories.
