Creative Monsoon is a family run illustration and surface pattern design studio based in sunny Brisbane, Australia. Since launching in 2009, we’ve been creating joyful, vibrant art prints, homewares and playful gifts designed to bring colour and personality into everyday life. Our collections are loved by customers across Australia and around the world who are drawn to bold, uplifting design.

At the heart of Creative Monsoon is artist and illustrator Jenn Bell who also maintains a separate fine art practice alongside her illustration and design work. With over 30 years in the creative industry, Jenn brings together fine art training, commercial design experience and a love of pattern to create cohesive collections that work beautifully as both finished products and surface pattern designs.

From sketchbook to screen, each design begins with loose hand drawn ideas before evolving into bright illustrations and repeat ready patterns. Some become art prints and home decor, others form part of larger coordinated collections, and many are available for licensing across textiles, stationery and lifestyle products.

We’ve grown into a colourful destination for those who love bold, joyful design. Every piece is created with care, blending whimsy with storytelling and a confident use of colour.
